Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Welcome to Uganda! Your adventure begins as you land at Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, a warm and friendly guide will be waiting to greet you. You’ll be transferred to your hotel for the night, where you can relax and recover from your flight. If you have some time, take a short stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria and soak in the beauty of your new surroundings.
Day 2: Road Trip to Murchison Falls National Park (via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)
Start your day early with a delicious breakfast before embarking on the scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll get up close to the endangered white rhinos on a guided walk. After a delightful stop, continue your journey to Murchison Falls, one of Uganda’s most iconic national parks. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and relax.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile
Rise early for an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Get ready for an exhilarating and once-in-a-lifetime experience: gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, your guide will take you to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, you’ll head into the dense forest to track one of the mountain gorilla families. The trek can take a few hours, but once you find the gorillas, you’ll have an hour to observe and photograph them as they go about their daily routines. It’s an awe-inspiring experience that you’ll remember forever. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Mburo National Park, located in the heart of Uganda. This park is known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. You’ll drive through Uganda’s scenic countryside and arrive at the park, where you’ll check into your lodge and have some time to relax.
Day 12: Walking Safari and Boat Ride on Lake Mburo
Today, you’ll take a guided walking safari, where you’ll have the opportunity to get up close to wildlife in a way that’s different from a traditional game drive.
