Your 1-day gorilla trekking tour begins with an early pick-up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport at around 4:30 AM. After a short briefing from your driver-guide, embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. Watch the sunrise over the lush hills, passing through local villages and vibrant markets as you head toward Kinigi, the park headquarters.
Morning to Afternoon: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Upon arrival, enjoy a cup of Rwandan coffee and attend the gorilla trekking briefing conducted by park rangers. You’ll be assigned to a gorilla family based on your fitness level and interests.
